Responsibilities
You are responsible for the sales & program management of multi- million dollars automation equipment business and providing excellent customers fulfilment, meeting quality and cost goals
- Identify business opportunities to expand customer base
- Identify and develop potential customer leads to increase market share and sales revenue
- Conducts sales calls, prepares, performs company and proposal presentations
- Leads sales enquiry, understand customer requirement and work with internal technical team to submit project proposal
- To process and monitor the Request for Quote (RFQ) process, from enquiry to propose a quotation for Management review
- To formalize the quotation and proposal, submission to customer and follow up.
- To provide Sales Projection and Forecast
- Establish rapport, build relationships and constant liaison with customers on future projects
- Able to provide leadership and organization skills in coordinating activities with various teams
- Maintain effective communications and coordination with customers and within the company
- Develop a sales strategy plan for business expansion and attending industry events to build relationships with key prospects
Requirements
- Degree/Diplomas in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
- Possess knowledge or past experiences in industrial automation, robotics, vision systems, IIoT, assembly and test process automation solutions
- Minimum 3 years sales experience servicing the Optoelectronics, Semiconductor, and Consumer Electronic/Device manufacturing industries
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with initiative and drive
- Good command in English, able to work independently and possess good presentation and negotiation skills
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Words and Power point
- Regional travelling is expected
